The Star Mountain residence has eight-plus bedrooms, eleven bathrooms and all sorts of luxury amenities.  Star Mountain in the Keystone Resort embodies inspiration and personal discovery.  It is Nouveau Montagne in its design and revealing in its experience.  It was conceived by the owners and architect, who also designed the highly touted HGTV Dream Home in Winter park.  This home very much connects the indoors and outdoors. The intention is that you walk in and feel as though you have been invited into a place that is an unfolding of the space and welcomes you into a panorama of views and inspiration.

The entry is a large, grand rotunda that opens up in the same principal that Frank Lloyd Wright called “embrace and release”.  You walk into a contained area and then are surprised by the scale of the living area just around the corner.  The main living area is dramatic with a custom stone and copper fire place, abundant seating, a stunning art collection and a huge wall of windows framing mountains and light.  It is attached to a dining area that will seat 22 comfortably for dinner.  The chef’s kitchen is just that – praised by every chef that has ever had the opportunity to create in its space.

The art collection has been carefully selected to interact with the nature and inspiration of the home.  Each elegant, spacious, well-appointed bedroom has its own bath and refrigerator.  The bedrooms are built on half levels to provide for guest privacy and the feeling of intimacy.  The 9th bedroom or the library can contain a large, circular table in which inspirational maxims are carved or 7 twin beds perfect for singles and kids.  Not only is it an impressive library, but an inspirational place to hold meetings and could be a lovely place to serve dinner overlooking the Keystone River Course. 

The media center provides 12 luxurious leather, reclining seats for viewing presentations, watching your favorite movie or sporting event while contemplating the universe on the lighted planetarium ceiling.  The game room includes an air hockey table and a pool table with a delightful fireplace.  The spa and fitness level provides an expert workout facility complete with exercise equipment, massage, and steam rooms in a cave-like atmosphere from the beginning of time.  A multi-person hot tub with a waterfall and grotto along-side a fire pit and overlooking the Snake River round out the entertaining spaces. Star Mountain is a house that wraps its arms around you.  The house lends itself to a sophisticated yet casual feel.
